联想确认，美国外国投资委员会 (CFIUS）已经批准了联想对IBM x86服务器业务的收购，两家公司已经完成了在美国的审批程序。正如我们就x86业务和摩托罗拉移动收购一贯所说的那样，我们将继续完成一系列的审批程序和业务程序，确保两项收购及时有效地完成。我们依然按计划在年底完成收购。为尊重这一过程的保密性，在满足一切交易完成的条件之前，我们将不再做进一步的置评。
IBM今天发表以下声明如下：
IBMtoday is pleased to announce it has received notice from the Committee onForeign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) of the successful conclusion ofthe committee’s review of the divestiture of its x86-based server business toLenovo. The clearance by CFIUS of this transaction is good news for both IBMand Lenovo, and for our customers and employees. The parties now look forwardto closing the transaction.
The approval of the $2.3 billion sale to Lenovo enables IBM to focus on systemand software innovations that bring new kinds of value to IBM clients in areassuch as cognitive computing, Big Data and cloud, and provides clarity andconfidence to current x86 customers that they will have a strong partner goingforward.
